Microstation flicker screen problem

This was an oddity that really flummoxed both MICROSTATION, the supplier and Me.  After several months of testing, hardware changes and MS XP, Nvidia updates it boiled down to a simple problem.  An incompatibility between Microsoft drivers for the wireless intellipoint mouse and the microstation software.  removing the drivers, of course, doesn’t render the hardware useless, it resolves the problem of the screen flickering completely.
